Cebu Pacific gearing up for busy 2023

Philippines-based Cebu Pacific "is firmly in place for full recovery in 2023" and expects "to restore 100%" of its pre-pandemic network and capacity by March, it announced on January 25.

The carrier is increase the numbers of flights from Manila to popular destinations such as Bangkok, Brunei, Guangzhou and Sydney, as well as restoring routes out of the Philippine capital to Macau, Melbourne, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Xiamen.

“We are excited to welcome more passengers onboard, especially now that we are back to easier times. We are proud to announce that Cebu Pacific has emerged stronger after nearly three years of pandemic, and that we are ready to give our customers a better flying experience,” said Candice Iyog,  Cebu's chief marketing and customer experience officer.

The carrier is to take delivery of a range of new Airbus aircraft in 2023, with three A320neo, three A321neo, and four A330neo on the way.
