CDI Cargo launches

Cargo airline start-up, CDI Cargo Airlines, have begun operations with a Boeing 737-300 service to Hangzhou-Qingdao-Changchun.

The airline took delivery of the Boeing freighter on August 15, which was an ex-Air China aircraft (MSN 27372). It was flown to the airline’s base at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International (HGH) after conversion at Jinan Yaoqiang International (TNA). It plans to add another two converted B737-300s from Air China to launch an initially domestic cargo operation.
Huixiang Industrial Investment Co., owns 51% of the airline, Haofu Group holds a 24% stake, Asia Yingsheng Investment Co. holds 15% and Caulfield Investment Co. holds the remaining 10%.
