CDB Aviation has delivered the first of two new Airbus A320neo aircraft to Azerbaijan's national carrier, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).
The lease agreements with AZAL were announced in June 2024 and marked the lessor's first transaction with Azerbaijan's national carrier.
The aircraft is the fourth A320neo that CDB Aviation has delivered over the last two months.
In August, as covered by Airline Economics, the Dublin-based lessor delivered three A320neo aircraft to Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines.
These deliveries fulfilled the Airbus side of a lease agreement for three Boeing 737 MAX and three A320neo aircraft, signed in November 2023.
