CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing, has completed a delivery mandate for two brand-new Airbus A320neo aircraft to Azerbaijan Airlines.
The lease agreements were announced in June 2024. The A320neos are powered by CFM LEAP-1A26 engines.
Samir Rzayev, president of Azerbaijan Airlines, said: “The addition of these modern, fuel-efficient aircraft supports Azerbaijan Airlines' ongoing fleet renewal strategy and reflects our commitment to offering passengers a more comfortable and sustainable travel experience."
Jie Chen, CEO of CDB Aviation, added: “We are confident that these latest generation A320neo family aircraft will further boost Azerbaijan Airlines' sustainable growth."
