Cardiff Airport has named Jon Bridge as its new CEO, effective from November 3, 2025.
Previously, Bridge has held a range of senior leadership and advisory positions in the retail, hospitality, and transport sectors.
From 2021 to 2025, he served as CEO of SA Brain & Co, one of Wales’s largest breweries, steering the company through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since March 2025, Bridge has also contributed at board level in an advisory capacity within the wider Welsh transport sector.
Andy Jones, who has been interim CEO of Cardiff Airport since March, will return to his position as a non-executive director on the airport’s board when Bridge takes over as CEO.
Cardiff Airport, being the only commercial passenger airport in Wales, is known as the National Airport of Wales.
