Canada Jetlines recently announced a new route out of its travel hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) with direct service to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) with twice weekly services starting in December 2022.

Duncan Bureau, Chief Commercial Officer of Canada Jetlines said: “Following the launch of a successful first route out of Toronto, we look forward to expanding our services into Vancouver ahead of the upcoming holiday travel season. We seek to provide Canadian travelers with more convenient travel options and look forward to bringing the country’s newest leisure airline to YVR.”

Mike McNaney, Vice President & Chief External Affairs Office at Vancouver Airport Authority said: “We look forward to welcoming Canada Jetlines to YVR, providing more connections to Toronto and southern Ontario for travelers to visit family and friends. We are excited about the options this new airline is offering from YVR, just in time for the holiday season and throughout the year.”

The airline claims that the new route will provide more accessible travel within Canada, connecting the lower mainland and southern Ontario.
