CALC opts for GTF engines to power 60 A320neo aircraft
China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) has signed a definitive agreement for up to 60 A320neo family aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney's GTF engine. ""PW is our long-term partner in providing global customers with environmentally friendly green fleet solutions,"" said CALC CEO Mike Poon. ""We will continue investing in energy-efficient aircraft and exploring aviation innovation to deliver sustainable, eco-friendly options for our global customer base."" Pratt & Whitney commercial engines president Rick Deurloo said on a LinkedIn post: ""Our GTF engines will continue to deliver the industry-leading fuel efficiency and emissions they expect."" The agreement was made at this year's Farnborough International Airshow.
