CALC delivers A321neo to United, marks 200th aircraft delivery

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) delivered the first of 12 new A321neo aircraft with United Airlines, the company said on March 24, 2025. The delivery also marks the lessor's 200th aircraft delivery and its first from the Airbus manufacturing facility in Mobile, US.

“CALC and Airbus have collaborated on fleet modernization for over a decade, expanding access to modern aircraft for airlines worldwide,” said CALC president and CCO Winnie Liu. “As we celebrating this 200th delivery milestone, we look forward to incorporating more technologically advanced models into our fleet as part of our shared commitment to a sustainable future.”

Airbus head of leasing customers Sinead Cormican commented: “This aircraft will be operated by an iconic US carrier, United Airlines, and symbolises CALC's continued global expansion. Airbus looks forward to further strengthening the partnership with CALC in the coming years.”

The remaining 11 aircraft are scheduled for phased delivery through 2026, with all 12 a part of CALC's existing orderbook.
