Cabo Verde Airlines has decided to postpone connections between Sal and Luanda, Angola, which was scheduled to start in December, until the Summer of 2020.
The Cape Verdean airline has said that the decision has been made due to commercial reasons and this postponement will allow the proper implementation of all promotion, sale and partnership mechanisms, respecting the conditions of the Angolan market and its various intermediaries that provide services in the tourism and air transport industry.
In the meantime, the company has already begun the process of protecting passengers who had already purchased tickets for this route.
Cabo Verde Airlines has been quick to stress that it maintains its commitment to the Angolan market, including the codeshare agreement with the Angolan airline TAAG - Linhas Aéreas de Angola, which, since 26 April, has been flying between the Angolan capital and the island of Sal, with a stop in São Tomé e Príncipe, twice a week.
