C919 a possibility for Ryanair

Trust Ryanair to provide a nice bit of fun yesterday: Howard Millar stated that they are talking to COMAC about putting extra wide doors on the C919 that would allow passengers to be herded on and off Ryanair flights in double-quick time.
“The Chinese are willing to listen to what we want,” said Ryanair’s chief financial officer, Howard Millar. “A plane manufactured by Boeing or Airbus is a one-size-fits-all. We want two people to walk through the door.”
So we all assume that they will cut the seat numbers by a third to have a double aisle - Nice try lads………

Aigle Azur to fly to Asia
French carrier Aigle Azur is planning on launching services from France to Asia. The yet unconfirmed routes will begin in early 2013. The airline plans to add leased, long-haul aircraft to its fleet of four A319s, five A320s and four A321s.
