As St Patrick's Day celebrations are set to kick off over the weekend, Friday March 14, 2025, is revealed to be the busiest day for flights from UK to Ireland, according to Cirium aviation analytics firm.
The firm said 169 flights are scheduled to depart UK airports to Ireland, which equates to roughly 27,000 seats.
Across the weekend, over 600 flights will be departing from the UK for the Republic of Ireland. Over 75% of these flights are to Dublin. Heathrow Airport will hold the largest number of departures, followed by Manchester, Stansted, and Birmingham.
Ryanair is projected to be the largest airline during the weekend, followed by Aer Lingus and British Airways.
