British Airways has announced the launch of several new routes for its 2024 season, including services operating from London Stansted for the first time since the pandemic.
The north-east London location will be the fourth London airport to be served by the flag carrier, with weekend flights available to Florence, Ibiza and Nice with British Airways’ subsidiary BA Cityflyer. Services will be operated on the E190 aircraft.
British Airways will also launch daily flights from London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi following a four-year hiatus, with services commencing on April 20 2024. Weekly flights from May to September will also serve Izmir, Turkey.
British Airways’ London Gatwick services will also see the introduction of four-weekly flights to Agadir, the airline’s second Moroccan destination. Finally, two new routes to San Sebastian and Olbia will operate from the carrier’s Edinburgh base, both running twice-weekly.
