British Airways adds Cincinnati as its 27th US destination

British Airways is all set to start flights between London Heathrow and Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky International airport, adding its 27th US destination. There are currently no nonstop flights between the UK and the US states of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Delta operates the only service between Europe and Cincinnati, with flights into Paris CDG.

British Airways will operate five flights per week to Cincinnati during summer and four weekly flights in winter starting June 2023.

Candace McGraw, chief executive officer of Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International airport, said: “British Airways’ nonstop service from CVG to London-Heathrow is an all-around win for the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana region. The economic impact of this transatlantic flight is exponential for business travel, economic development, and tourism between the UK and our area of the United States. We look forward to a strong partnership with our new friends across the pond for many years to come.”

This summer BA launched its much-delayed flights to Portland, and the route is set to increase to daily in summer 2023. The carrier recently announced plans to increase its Heathrow-Pittsburgh service to six-times-weekly next year and is also set to add an eighth daily flight to New York JFK for summer 2023.
