Breeze to commence Los Angeles- Pittsburgh flights from September

Breeze Airways is all set to launch services between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) in September. The airline will fly twice weekly on the year-round route and plans to deploy its Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

This news comes on the heels of Breeze Airways launching a twice weekly route between Pittsburgh and Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) in North Carolina. American airlines operate twice daily service on this route.

Breeze also resumed seasonal service to Norfolk International Airport in Virginia.

The Los Angeles International Airport will be the 11th airport served by Breeze from Pittsburgh.

Breeze is has also launched twice daily services from Pittsburgh to Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) in New York and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in Florida becoming the first airline to serve ISP in over 25 years from the airport. The services start from May 26, 2023.

Breeze will also commence twice weekly services between Pittsburgh and Portland International Jetport (PWM) in Maine from June 2, giving Portland a direct connection to Pittsburgh for the first time since United dropped the route in 2021.
