Brazil's GOL has posted record third-quarter net revenues as the airline posted R$3.7 billion during the third period of 2019, an increase of 28.3% compared to last year.
GOL carried 9.8 million customers in the quarter, up 13% year-on-year, with 9.2 million in the domestic market, up 11.4% over the same period of 2018.
Its Revenue per Passenger Kilometer (RPK) increased 12.8% totalling 11.1 billion in 3Q19, driven by 13.0% growth in the number of transported passengers, while Available Seat Kilometer (ASK) growth was 7.6%.
The Company transported almost 10 million customers during the quarter, a growth of 13% over the same period last year, and achieved a 38% market share in the Brazilian domestic market, according to ANAC data.
GOL reported operating cash flow generation of R$1.1 billion in the quarter. Total liquidity was R$4 billion, R$369.7 million higher in comparison to June 30, 2019 and R$1 billion higher than a year ago.
The airline has made R$935.6 million in financial debt repayments in 2019.
