Boom Supersonic has been listed among four businesses spanning several industries to take part in Frontier, described as a "market commitment" to promote development of carbon removal technologies.
"The partnership will broaden access to climate-critical permanent carbon removal technologies by enabling buy-in for Watershed customers at a wider range of commitment sizes," said Watershed, the company providing the software for the project.
“We are participating in the Frontier programme through our partnership with Watershed to accelerate permanent carbon removal across industries, taking another step toward our commitment to net zero by 2025," said Kathy Savitt, president of Boom Supersonic, which is developing a supersonic jet it hopes to get off the ground in 2025.
