Bombardier prices new senior notes offering
Bombardier has priced a $750 million aggregate principal amount of new senior notes due June 1, 2032, with a coupon of 7.000% and is expected to close on June 5, 2024. The proceeds are intended to be used to fund the repayment of outstanding indebtedness, including the redemption of $338 million aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 7.125% senior notes due 2026 and of $450 million aggregate principal amount of its outstanding 7.875% senior notes due 2027. In addition, the proceeds will cover accrued interest, as well as related fees and expenses. Bombardier said that, as of May 21, 2024, there is $504 million aggregate principal amount outstanding of the 2026 notes and $1.4bn aggregate principal amount outstanding of the 2027 notes. The company also launched its new defence office in Adelaide, Australia on May 21, 2024. The office is set to allow the company to provide an ""enhanced level of service to its special mission customers in this important market.""
