Boeing will release its fiscal third-quarter earnings on October 20. Most analysts expect the aircraft manufacturer to report earnings of 99 cents per share on revenue of $16.53 billion. In the year ago quarter, the company posted a loss of $2.22 per share on revenue of $16.69 billion.
At its last earnings call Boeing reafirmed its fiscal year expectations to earn in the range of $3.50 to $3.80 per share and revenue in the range of $64 billion to $66 billion. The company continues to expect that 2011 revenue will be higher than 2010, due to deliveries of 787s and 747-8s.
Boeing delivered 124 commercial aircraft in the 2010 third quarter, up 11 from 113 in the same period last year, for a total of 346 deliveries so far this year.
