Vicky Hartley has joined Boeing Capital Corp. (BCC) as its new London-based senior director serving the manufacturer’s Europe-based airline, financing and leasing customers.
Hartley most recently had her own UK finance consultancy where clients included airlines, export credit agencies and several major banks operating in aircraft finance.
Previously Hartley spent more than 15 years working in the aviation sector in the London offices of WestLB and Berliner Bank.
“Boeing Capital has long maintained a London presence reflecting the city’s importance as an aviation financing center and its proximity to many of our customers,” said Jordan Weltman, BCC vice president and senior managing director for Europe, Russia and Central Asia. “Adding Vicky as our first locally hired London financier builds on that commitment and brings us her insights from more than two decades of experience in all aspects of aircraft finance.”
Hartley’s finance career began after university (University of Bristol) when she trained in retail banking and then progressed to leveraged buy-out debt financing in the City of London before turning her focus to aircraft finance.
Hartley will be based at Boeing’s Heathrow office. She will work closely with Boeing’s other Europe-focused staff, based in London, Seattle and other regional offices.
