Boeing is expecting second major deal in Saudi Arabia with Riyadh Air of about 150 737 MAX jets, Bloomberg reports. Riyadh Air has a requirement of about 300 to 4000 single-aisle jets in total, including options for more, sources claim.
“Talks are complicated, with timing and structure still in flux, and Airbus SE could also claim a portion of the order,” Bloomberg quotes a source familiar with the matter asking not to be identified since discussions are private.
Riyadh Air has already placed an order with Boeing for a combined 78 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
