Boeing delivered a total of 116 commercial aircraft in the third quarter 2024, it said on October 8, 2024.
The deliveries comprised of 92 737 deliveries, 14 787s, six 767s, and four 777s.
Year-to-date, the American OEM has delivered 291 commercial aircraft, the majority of which were the 737s at 229 deliveries. It comes amidst a background of regulatory oversight throughout the year after the Flight 1282 incident, coupled with other supply chain and quality control issues. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) capped Boeing's 737 output to 38 per month.
The company is also contending with an ongoing strike with its machinists based in Portland and Seattle.
Boeing delivered 105 aircraft, including 70 737s, in the third quarter of last year. Year-to-date, it had delivered 371 aircraft last year.
The report comes ahead of its full third quarter financial results on October 23, 2024.
