In a quarterly update, BOC Aviation has reported that it now has a total fleet of 533 aircraft owned, managed and on order. BOC Aviation’s orderbook stands at 113 aircraft – 44 A320neo family aircraft, 45 737MAX aircraft and 21 787s. Its owned 385-aircraft fleet has an average aircraft age of 3.8 years and an average remaining lease term of 8.2 years.
During the third quarter, BOC Aviation executed a total of 38 transactions. The lessor took delivery of nine aircraft (including one acquired by an airline customer on delivery) sold two owned aircraft and signed 27 lease commitments.
BOC Aviation now has a customer base of 88 airlines in 38 countries and regions in the owned and managed portfolios. Its managed fleet comprises 37 aircraft, with one single aisle aircraft off lease. BOC Aviation’s owned aircraft utilisation is at 99.0%, with two single aisle and six twin aisle aircraft off lease. The lessor reports that signed leases are now in place for all six twin aisle aircraft
