BOC Aviation records busy second quarter with 73 transactions

BOC Aviation executed a total of 73 transactions in the second quarter of 2023 (Q2). These include commitments to purchase 20 aircraft, delivery of 14 aircraft including one acquired by an airline customer on delivery, sale of two owned aircraft and 32 lease commitments. The lessor announced its operational transactions for the quarter ending June 2023:

As of June 30, 2023, the lessor has a total fleet of 652 aircraft owned, managed and on order with an average age of 4.7 years and an average remaining lease term of 8.0 years for the 404 owned aircraft fleet, both weighted by net book value.

BOC Aviation has an order book of 213 aircraft, with 91 customers in 42 countries. Its managed fleet comprises of 35 aircraft will all aircraft on lease.
