BOC Aviation delivered one A320neo aircraft on long-term lease to new customer Centrum Air. The delivery is the first of two scheduled to the Uzbekistan airline. Both aircraft are powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines.
“The A320neo remains one of the most technologically advanced aircraft and is a cornerstone of our orderbook," said BOC Aviation CEO and managing director Steven Townend. "We are confident that its attractive operating characteristics will compliment Centrum Air’s expansion plans."
Centrum Holding chairman of the board Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov said: “The addition of A320neo in our fleet is a remarkable milestone for us, which will significantly enhance our capabilities for medium-haul flights… this aligns with our company's strategic goals to expand our network."
The second jet is scheduled to deliver in the first half of this year.
