BOC Aviation delivered 13 aircraft, sold 11 in second quarter
BOC Aviation executed a total of 59 transactions in the second quarter of the year. These comprised of 13 aircraft deliveries, 11 aircraft sold, 24 lease commitments, and commitments to purchase four aircraft. As of June 30, 2024, its total fleet of owned, managed and on order aircraft was 680, with an average aircraft age of 4.9 years. For its 429 owned aircraft fleet, its averaging remaining lease term is 7.9 years. Its managed fleet comprised of 32 aircraft, while it has 219 on order. Its orderbook comprises of 124 A320neo family fleet - of which it owns 130 - and 86 737-8/9 aircraft, as well as two A220 family aircraft and seven 787 family aircraft. It raised $500 million through a five-year bond issue at a historically low spread for the company. It had raised its customer base to 93 airlines across 47 countries in its owned and managed portfolios.
