BNP Paribas helps to raise circa $15 billion of financings during H12016
BNP Paribas CIB has helped its clients raise more than $7 billion through aircraft financing loans and an additional $7.9 billion in capital markets during the first half of 2016.
The bank arranged some 32 loan transactions to finance $7 billion of aircraft financings during the first six months of 2016. The bank arranged loan financing for airlines and lessors through a wide variety of structures – including JOLCOs for Air France, Finnair and Turkish Airlines, French tax leases for Sun Express, Turkish Airlines and ICBC Leasing, and term loan to LATAM Airlines. In addition, BNP Paribas arranged a number of portfolio and warehouse financings for lessors such as Accipiter, Macquarie Air Finance, Aircastle, BBAM and KDAC.
In addition to aircraft loan financings, BNP Paribas helped its clients raise an additional $7.9 billion of capital market financings as joint bookrunner across unsecured bonds, EETCs, Term Loan B and IPO.
