Blueberry Aviation has delivered four ATR72-600 aircraft to ACIA Aero Leasing.
The delivery is part of a repossession and remarketing project assigned to the aircraft trading company, involving a formerly NAC-owned fleet of 10 ATR72-600 aircraft which had been operated by Garuda Indonesia.
Blueberry Aviation was mandated by the French and Italian Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) to support the negotiation with the airline and manage the full repossession project.
""I am pleased to say the delivery of these aircraft confirms Blueberry Aviation’s team as the go-to experts for regional aircraft in the global secondary market,"" said Blueberry Aviation CEO Francois Gautier. ""We are grateful for the ECAs’ renewed trust. It has been a pleasure working with ACIA to complete this transaction.""The project included on-site physical and records inspections, valuation of the fleet, recovery from Indonesia, ferry to and storage in France, managing aircraft insurances, as well as the remarketing and redelivery of the aircraft to their new owner.
