BA's Euroflyer gets official Gatwick go-ahead

The Gatwick Airport-based Euroflyer has been given an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) and Operating Licence from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), British Airways has announced.

The recently-launched Euroflyer is a subsidiary of British Airways, itself part of the International Airlines Group (IAG) network of airlines alongside Aer Lingus and Iberia, among others.

The awarding of the licences means BA can "begin the transition of aircraft, flight crew and cabin crew" to the operator at Gatwick, south of London, according to an airline statement.
