Baines Simmons, part of the Consulting & Training division of global aviation services group Air Partner, has appointed Jim Creber as senior consultant. Jim reports directly to Mike Wallace, head of training & consulting operations, and is based at Baines Simmons’ headquarters at Fairoaks airport.
Creber has over 25 years of systems engineering experience gained across a wide range of industries, including 18 years as an engineer in the Royal Air Force. For the past 10 years, he has applied his significant expertise to the Aviation Safety domain, developing and delivering a number of strategic safety initiatives. Notably, he was responsible for establishing the first Human Factors and Error Management System in the UK military.
Creber has also delivered cultural change initiatives, providing support and guidance to senior operators and engineers. As a Continuing Airworthiness Manager, he gained a deep knowledge of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Regulatory domain and, consequently, is able to provide clients with a fully rounded view of this Aviation Safety requirement.
