BAA Training, European standard aviation training center, has signed a cooperation contract with International Flight Training Center Istanbul (ITFC Istanbul). The agreement covers lease of Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 FFS for BAA Training students’ training in Turkey’s capital.
The one year-long contract will allow BAA Training’s pilot trainees from the surrounding regions to conveniently receive professional Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 pilot training in accordance to EASA standards. In addition to the full flight simulators, ITFC Istanbul will provide necessary classrooms, equipment and customer service support to BAA Training clients.
“For couple of years now we have a strategic goal of strengthening our positions in the region as well as bringing more and more of our European standard pilot training opportunities to locations around the world. This partnership is yet another strong step towards that goal as well as towards tackling the thriving pilot demand,” comments Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO of BAA Training. “Our aviators seeking for a pilot career will now have another EASA certified Type Rating training facility that is easy to reach from the Middle East, Asia as well as Africa. The more locations we have across the globe, the less time we will spend in various arrangements before the training – this helps students to reach their dream career even faster.”
