British Airways (BA CityFlyer) has launched a new route as a part of its winter schedule between London City Airport and Aberdeen. Flights commence from November 1, 2022, till January 22, 2023, on Embraer E190.
Commenting on BA CityFlyer’s new route and London City Airport’s October figures, Aviation Director, Anne Doyere, said: “We are delighted BA CityFlyer is launching this route between London City Airport and Aberdeen that will provide even more choice for passengers, particularly in time for Christmas and Hogmanay. With six routes across the country, we offer the best, most comprehensive service between London and Scotland.”
British Airways reported a strong summer with over five times the passengers as compared to the same time last year, the airline noted. Also, British Airways reported 300,000 passengers in October 2022, almost a 103% increase from October 2021 figures, with strong load factors. Thus, eyeing an increasing demand British Airways’ new route will offer faster connection to UK’s capital supporting businesses and helping drive economic growth.
