British Airways and South African regional carrier CemAir have entered into a codeshare agreement that will open up connections to more destinations in South Africa through the airline’s gateways of Johannesburg and Cape Town.
“As we continue our expansion during the post Covid recovery we realise that now more than ever partnerships are key to success,” commented Miles can der Molen, CEO of CemAir. “Our interline agreement provides our customers with convenience and savings as they c an now seamlessly connect from our flights to the vast global network of this iconic airline”.
BA currently offers the most flights into South Africa of any European carriers, with twice-daily flights into Johannesburg and up to triple-daily services into Cape Town on some days during peak season.
