Azur Aviation looks to AFI KLM E&M for 777-300ER cabin modification

Azur Aviation has entered into an agreement with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) for the (Part 21) cabin modification design of a 777-300ER for the Moscow-based airline.

This is the third partnership between the two groups in this particular field, with AFI KLM E&M having already undertaken the modification of three of AZUR's Boeing 777-300ERs.

Talha Yasin Buyukkal, head Boeing 777 engineer at Azur Aviation, said: "we were highly impressed by the support services offered by AFI KLM E&M for the purposes of this operation. We're delighted to be able to rely on teams who are qualified, understanding and committed for this important project for Azur, as we continue the process of bringing the 777s into service within our fleet.
