Azul has reported its unaudited financials for August to the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The move follows the airline's filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in May this year.
Azul's operating revenue totalled 1.9bn Brazilian reals ($357.4 million) for the month of August. Adjusted EBITDA totalled 664.9 million reals ($125.1 million), and the airline reported an adjusted EBITDA margin of 35.2%.
Operating income totalled 425 million reals ($80 million) and operating margin was 22.5%.
As of the end of August, the company had 1.7bn reals ($320 million) in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments.
