Azul, Brazil’s largest airline, has renewed its partnership with Navitaire in an agreement to strengthen the low-cost carrier’s digital capabilities and support its growing network.
Building on a partnership in place since Azul’s 2008 launch, the renewal includes Navitaire’s New Skies digital retail platform, and its Digital Experience suite, Dynamic Pricing for Ancillaries, Travel Commerce, and GoNow Agent day-of-departure solutions.
Through the Digital Experience suite, Azul can create offerings that allow travellers to shop, buy and service travel from their preferred device; a “customer-centric modern technology" that Navitaire CEO David P. Evans describes as allowing Azul to blend the traditional elements it needs with [its] digital-first, retain-first, cloud-first solutions".
Highlighting the benefits Navitaire‘s “proven platform" has offered within key areas of scalability, digital connections and innovation, Abhi Shah, president of Azul, added: “We‘ve relied on its core capabilities including rich data and retail-first approach to help [the airline] continually adapt... to deliver digital innovation to meet customer expectation".
