Azorra Aviation signs new set maintenance offer agreement for CF34-10E Engines

Azorra Aviation will commence a set maintenance offer (SMO) agreement with GE Aviation for its CF34-10E engine fleet to help significantly reduce the engine's cost of ownership.

The SMO agreement is available to all CF34-10E customers, regardless of their maintenance, repair and overhaul provider.

"Recent durability improvements have helped the CF34-10E engine become one of the most reliable GE engines in the field," said David Kircher, general manager of Regional Engines and Services at GE Aviation. "The new SMO agreement will reduce the cost of the LLP (Life Limited Parts) shop visit by 30 percent, which is a significant savings for our CF34-10E customers."

Under the SMO agreement, customers receive the following parts: high pressure compressor blades, combustor dome, inner and outer combustor liners, high pressure turbine blades and nozzles, Stage 1 low pressure turbine nozzles and a brand-new stack of rotating LLPs.
