AXIS successfully qualifies technologies for Rega's flight simulator
AXIS Flight Simulation has successfully qualified the heads-up-display (HUD) and enhanced vision systems (EVS) for Rega Swiss Air Rescue's Bombardier Challenger CL650 level D full flight simulator; the first of its type in Europe. The flight simulator, owned by Rega, is operated by Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) in Zurich. The HUD and EVS allows for improved visibility, situational awareness, and operational safety while inflight. With the newly qualified technologies for the simulator, CL650 pilots can now practice using such systems. ""Achieving this qualification for Rega highlights our dedication to delivering high-quality training solutions which harness the latest technology,"" said AXIS Flight Simulation member of the executive board Christian Theuermann. The company had also recently launched its AX-D Flex system for its flight simulator, the first front-loading roll-on/roll-off system, of which Rega was the first customer.
