AWAS LEASES 767-300ER TO NORDWIND

Dublin based aircraft lessor, AWAS, has leased a Boeing 767-300ER to Nordwind Airlines’ for their growing aircraft fleet based in Moscow, Russia. Nordwind operates charter flights with 13 aircraft to various leisure destinations in Turkey, Europe, Egypt, India, UAE, Thailand, and China.

“We are very pleased to be entering into an agreement to receive this modern, capable widebody aircraft from AWAS,” said Kazim Dikici, board member of Nordwind Airlines. “As one of the major players in the charter market, we would like to thank all our clients, service providers, and partners for the trust that they have placed in us.”

Nordwind Airlines has entered into an agreement with Global Avia Logistics to meet the parts supply and technical demands of Nordwind at this delivery of their 13th aircraft.

“Nordwind is a very successful and growth-oriented charter airline, and we are happy that they have chosen to deepen their relationship with us with this second B767-300ER,” said Doug Winter, head of sales AWAS.
