Avolon has agreed to lease two additional Airbus A321neo aircraft to Royal Jordanian Airlines, which are scheduled for delivery in 2027 and 2028 respectively.
The agreement adds to the eight A320neos that Avolon agreed to lease to Royal Jordanian earlier this year, seven of which have already been delivered.
The new aircraft will support Royal Jordanian’s fleet expansion strategy in key markets across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, and its transition to new-technology aircraft.
Royal Jordanian currently flies to 50 destinations and is planning to grow its fleet to 41 aircraft by 2028.
Earlier this week, Avolon also announced that it has agreed to lease five new A320neo aircraft to Centrum Air, Uzbekistan's largest private airline, with the aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2027.
As of September 30, 2025, Avolon had a total of 149 A320neo family aircraft and an orderbook of 347 A320neo family aircraft.
