Avolon has acquired 17 aircraft and sold 15 in the third quarter of 2025, the lessor said in a business update on Monday (October 6).
The company ended the quarter with 60 aircraft agreed for sale and entered into letters of intent for the purchase and lease of 10 aircraft during the period.
Avolon said it placed eight aircraft from its orderbook during the quarter, with 99% of its orderbook now placed for the next two years.
During the third quarter, it raised $2.2bn in unsecured funding and completed the repayment of $829 million of existing secured debt and a $1bn tender offer. Avolon said this increased both the duration and proportion of unsecured debt in its capital structure.
As of the end of the quarter, the lessor had an owned, managed, and committed fleet of 1,159 aircraft, including orders and commitments for 522 new technology aircraft.
