Avolon sold 11 aircraft during the third quarter 2024, it said in its quarter update on October 3, 2024. It ended the quarter with 59 aircraft agreed for sale.
The company totalled 134 aircraft agreed for purchase and 85 jets agreed for sale in the first nine months of the year.
For the quarter, it delivered nine new aircraft and transitioned five aircraft to a total of 11 customers. In addition, it entered into letters of intent for the sale and leaseback of nine aircraft.
The Irish leasing company ended the quarter with an owned and managed fleet of 577 aircraft, with total orders and commitments for 442 fuel-efficient, new technology aircraft.
During the quarter, Avolon also announced it would acquire Castlelake Aviation along with its portfolio of 105 aircraft, two engines, and 13 aircraft commitments.
