As expected and commented about for many months, Avolon has finally filed to list in the US.
The Irish lessor has filed a registration statement with the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) for the proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common shares.
The offering is expected to be solely secondary, and the company has not yet disclosed the number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering. However, market talk has set the expected size of the offering of $300 million, which accounts for the size of shares offered by the selling shareholders – namely private equity firms Cinven, CVC Capital and Oak Hill Capital.
JP Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley and Citi are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
