Dublin-based aircraft lessor and aircraft portfolio service company Avionix has named Martin Gallagher as managing director, technical & asset management, with David Ronan appointed head of finance & operations.
Avionix is owned by institutional investors advised by JP Morgan Global Alternatives’ Global Transportation Group, whose global head of transportation Andrian Dacy said was "delighted" to welcome Gallagher and Ronan.
"Martin and David bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Avionix and will play a key role in the development of the company, and supporting the continued growth of our aviation strategy," Dacy added.
Gallagher has worked in aviation for more than 30 years, with Shannon Aerospace and Goshawk among the businesses he has worked for. Ronan started out in 2008 with RBS Aviation Capital and more recently set up and led AMCK Aviation's corporate finance & treasury work, raising over $3bn via various corporate and secured facilities.
The appointments followed the naming in June 2022 of Aisling McCarthy as managing director, who joined the company in April 2021 as strategic advisor.
