Aviator Airport Alliance, an aviation services provider, announced its expansion of a strategic collaboration with Lufthansa Group. The expanded arrangement will extend until November, 2026. The expansion applies to a station in Gothenburg, Sweden operated by Aviator.
Aviator will continue to provide ground handling and deicing services for companies of the Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, and Swiss International Air Lines). Brussels Airlines will join the partnership agreement from April 2024.
“I am glad to express sincere gratitude to Lufthansa Group for choosing Aviator and trusting us with confidence,” said Aviator CEO, Jo Alex Tanem. “After the expansion of the partnership, we will have around 75 weekly turns, and this is a bold sign of trust from our partners. We commit to delivering world-class ground handling and de-icing solutions that meet and exceed the industry's highest standards.”
“Our partnership with Aviator has grown every year along with operational efficiency,” said Sven Thaler, head of ground operations continental north. “I firmly believe that, built on mutual trust and respect, it will remain strong for many years to come. Having partners like Aviator is a key element of our success.”
