United Airlines has received delivery of one 737 MAX 9 aircraft from lessor Aviation Capital Group (ACG). The aircraft features the CFM International LEAP-1B engines. It is the first aircraft scheduled for delivery in part of a multiple aircraft sale and leaseback (SLB) between the lessor and airline. ""Our collaboration continues to strengthen, driven by shared values and a mutual commitment to customer satisfaction,"" said ACG executive vice president and chief commercial officer Carter White. ""The Boeing 737-9 MAX is a testament to our dedication to advancing a greener, more sustainable future in aviation."" United Airlines vice president and treasurer Pamela Hendry commented: ""Our partnership with the team at Aviation Capital Group has been instrumental in supporting our fleet strategy, particularly as we invest in more fuel efficient, customer-friendly aircraft."" In addition, the lessor delivered one A321neo to Condor Flugdienst. The aircraft are powered by the GTF engines. It is the third of four aircraft scheduled to be delivered.
