Aviation 100 Middle East & Africa Awards announced

During a gala dinner at the close of the first day of the tenth Airline Economics Growth Frontiers Dubai 2022 conference, Philip Tozer-Pennington, managing director of Aviation News announced the winners of the Aviation 100 Middle East & Africa Awards, kindly sponsored by KPMG and ORIX Aviation.

The full list of winners is below. The biggest winner of the evening was DAE, which scooped best lessor in the region but also went home with several trophies for the many successful deals the team close in the 12 months to date.

Etihad Airways was once again crowed the Airline of the Year for the Middle East & Africa region, with Etihad's Adam Boukadida recognised as the foremost airline CFO in the region. Air Arabia's Adel Ali was recognised as the region's leading CEO for his stellar achievements over the past year.

K&L Gates was named as law firm of the year for the region, with Standard Chartered Bank in a throughly-deserved win as Middle East & Africa Bank of the Year.
