Avianca Brazil will join the Star Alliance network July 22.
Star Alliance CEO Mark Schwab has confirmed that Avianca Brazil has fulfilled all membership requirements. The group also confirmed that it is talking to a second carrier in Brazil to potentially join the alliance. Schwab didn’t give any names, but Azul may be a possibility.
