Atlanta-based Aventure Aviation has acquired seven Boeing 737NGs from Canadian carrier WestJet Airlines.

The aircraft "will undergo immediate teardown for parts", Aventure said, with the first to be done in Arizona.

"This major acquisition will provide a significant inventory increase for our global customer base," said Kevin Lang, director of strategic accounts at Aventure, which was represented by law firm Smith Gambrell Russel in the transaction.
