Avelo Airlines announces new nonstop service between Redding and Las Vegas

Avelo Airlines has announced a new nonstop service between Redding, CA and Las Vegas.

Avelo's twice-weekly direct service between Redding Municipal Airport (RDD) and McCarran International Airport (LAS) begins January 6, 2022 and will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

"We are excited to connect these two popular vacation destinations," said Avelo Chairman and CEO Andrew Levy. "This new route represents an easy and affordable gateway for Avelo Customers in Redding and Las Vegas to experience the adventure, excitement and beauty both places offer."

Alaska Airlines adds Boise and Idaho nonstop flight
Starting June 16, Alaska Airlines will begin year-round, daily flights to Idaho Falls and Las Vegas from Boise.

"We have deep roots in the Treasure Valley and our commitment to our guests in southern Idaho keeps getting stronger," said Brett Catlin, vice president of network and alliances at Alaska Airlines. "Reconnecting Boise and Idaho Falls with nonstop air service will drive economic activity and enable further growth of our Boise focus city, including today's announcement of new nonstop service to Vegas."

Nov. 19, Alaska will also begin flying daily nonstop service from Boise to Phoenix, which was originally scheduled for seasonal flying during the winter, but will now fly the route year-round.
