Avelo Airlines has announced the opening of a sixth base in the United States, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. The carrier will base one Boeing 737 in Las Vegas and open the base in September.
The airline will hire pilots, flight attendants, aircraft maintenance technicians, and supervisors for its operations in Vegas.

Avelo has operated nonstop service between Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and Sonoma/Santa Rosa, California (TAS) since September 2021, and this investment will add four new nonstop destinations from LAS: Bend / Redmond, Ore. (RDM); Brownsville, Texas (BRO); Dubuque, Iowa (DBQ); and Eureka / Arcata, Calif. (ACV). Avelo will be the only airline flying nonstop between LAS and these five destinations.
